In the countryside, when one has some extra money, they tend to renovate their brick-and-tile houses. For most projects, the materials are sourced by oneself, and a few masons and carpenters are hired to construct the main walls and the gabled roof. As for the gable roof, it features a wooden tenon-and-mortise structure, with several U-shaped rebar bars inserted into it. To save costs, farmers buy some rebar on their own, then set up a charcoal furnace to heat the rebar until it turns red, after which they hammer it into a pointed shape so that it can be driven into wood for later use. There is a case about someone who failed in business; in order to fake his own death, he found a homeless man, killed him, poured gasoline on the body, and staged it as a car accident resulting in the body being burned. The criminal threw the lit lighter over; despite the distance of a few meters, he still burned himself. He threw his phone away, behind the car, without caring about it. When the police solved the case, they found that the direction of the phone did not match the driving direction; after analyzing the evidence, they were able to catch the culprit.
