There is a product that is a clip-on type heat exchanger. The process calculations require that the heat exchange tubes be finned tubes with fins on the inside. Based on the properties of the fluid and the operating conditions, S30409 was chosen as the material for these tubes. However, no standards for finned tubes made of stainless steel could be found; only standards for finned tubes made of copper were available. Fellow forum members, has anyone encountered this kind of problem? I’m seeking advice. Thank you all.
