Blast furnace gas heating My reply is a different matter. I remember asking a similar question a few years ago. If it is coke oven gas heating, we might as well analyze the exchange steps, one gas switch off (takes 15 seconds), short interval (0.8 seconds): Second exchange of exhaust gas (taking 15 seconds), another short interval (0.8 seconds): Turn on the gas three times (taking 15 seconds), the theoretical time is 46.6 seconds. 1. Turn off the gas in the first step. If the exchange cock is not closed tightly, pause briefly and start the second step to empty the exhaust gas. At this time, there is still gas entering the descending fire channel, but there is a lack of medium air at this time, and the gas combustion is incomplete, so there is smoke for one or two minutes after the change. (This phenomenon can be judged based on the numerical changes in the heating gas flow meter. The gas flow rate should be 0 when the stopcock is closed. If there is a value in the flow meter at this time, there is a problem! ) 2. Turn off the gas in the first step. If there is no short pause interval, the residual gas in the fire channel will not be completely burned and will produce smoke. 3. If the exchange process is too short, smoke will also appear.
There is another reason. I wonder if your plant is coking alone or jointly with steel? There is no external gas supply for the newly built coke oven, the pressure-stabilizing water seal value is too high or the automatic release is not put into use. One coke oven changes direction and the pressure of the other one rises sharply, which will also cause smoke. From the author's literal analysis, this does not seem to be the case.
There is a series of leaks in the furnace body. If it is easy to repair, repair it. If it is not easy to repair, you can only hope that the graphite produced by the furnace body itself can repair itself.
