According to 47041 8.4, the following welds require magnetic particle and penetrant testing in accordance with GB150: a. Between the skirt and the tower shell; b. Between the lifting lugs and the tower shell; c. Other connections to the tower shell that require stress calculation. Is it correct to understand that a and b are treated as dissimilar steel joints as specified in 150 P336 10.4, while c requires stress calculation according to 47041?
GB150 is a mandatory standard that must be followed, while NB/T is a recommended standard that is not necessarily required to be implemented. However, in most cases it is best to follow the highest Accord standards.
I may not have explained it clearly; what I mean is that a, b, and c are all subjected to surface inspection using 47041 Regardless of the material, as long as it falls under categories a, b, or c in 47041, it needs to be tested. Or does it depend on the material, with testing required for type 150 dissimilar joints?

GB150 represents the minimum requirements; since there are specific requirements for towers, it is best to follow those standards. The tower standards do not impose any material restrictions, so it is advisable to check whether the structure meets the requirements of those standards.
