Our unit has directly chosen Shanghai Foster’s centrifugal pumps; they have been in use for over a year now. With 6 pumps in total, the seal rings have had to be replaced 3 times in that period, and the frequency of maintenance is even lower than that of high-pressure slurry pumps. It’s very durable, the price is low, and it’s easy and quick to repair.
It depends on the properties of the coal slurry; if its viscosity is too high, it becomes more difficult to use centrifugal pumps. For specific details, you can request a performance sheet and conduct targeted research
Can the viscosity of water-coal slurry gasification exceed 1200? Is it even more effective at higher viscosities? It’s likely that the high-pressure coal slurry pumps and burners will not be able to function in such conditions. Hehe
Low-pressure centrifugal slurry pumps are not designed to handle coal slurries with high viscosity
