The high-voltage generator or combined head must have a proper grounding wire; it is necessary to regularly use an ohmmeter to check whether there is conductivity between its casing, the control panel casing, and the external grounding wire, and to tighten the grounding bolts. 11. Since the combined head is equipped with an X-ray tube, vibrations or collisions should be avoided as much as possible. When moving the super-long fluorescent screen or the vertical arm up and down, do not apply excessive force, and the movement speed should not be too fast, in order to prevent the X-ray tube from being subjected to vibrations. 12. The X-ray tubes in combined units generally have low power, small casings, and limited oil volume, which results in weak heat dissipation. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly adhere to the operating specifications for these X-ray tubes and to regularly monitor their heat dissipation performance ; Continuous operation time should not be too long, to prevent the anode surface of the X-ray tube from overheating and melting, which could cause damage, or to avoid a decrease in insulation strength due to overheated oil, leading to breakdown of the high-voltage components. When room temperatures are high in summer, a regular electric fan can be used to help cool the machine head. 13. Regularly check the window at the front of the machine; if bubbles are detected, they should be removed promptly, and any oil leakage or seepage should be addressed immediately. Maintenance of high-voltage cables: 1. The surface of high-voltage cables must be kept clean; they should not be exposed to moisture, freezing, heat, or pressure. When the cable gets wet, water seeps inside, reducing insulation and making it prone to breakdown ; Freezing causes the rigid gel layer to crack and discharge electricity ; It is prone to absorbing moisture and expanding/deforming when heated ; Compression causes the metal mesh layer, which serves as a protective layer, to be damaged. 2. The filler inside high-voltage cable plugs is usually made by mixing rosin or asphalt with paraffin insulating oil; it often melts and flows out at the X-ray tube end due to heat, so regular inspections are necessary, and any such issue should be addressed promptly. 5. The X-ray tube housing is grounded through the metal mesh layer of the high-voltage cable; it is necessary to regularly check whether the fixing rings at both ends of the cable are securely attached to the X-ray tube and the high-voltage generator. If a hissing sound of static discharge is heard under high voltage, this area should be checked first. 6. If there are signs of high-voltage breakdown on the high-voltage plug, in mild cases the core wire can be scraped out with a knife and the plug can still be used; in severe cases, it must be replaced with a new one.
