Article 27 of Section 3, Chapter 2 of the \"Code Requirements for Liquid Ammonia Storage Tanks\" states that the fire separation distance between liquid ammonia storage tanks shall meet the following requirements: 1. The fire separation distance between horizontal tanks is generally 1.0 times the diameter of the tank, and should not exceed 1.5 m; 2. The fire separation distance between spherical tanks shall not be less than 0.5 times the diameter of the tanks when accidental emissions are directed to a flare or absorption treatment unit ; When there are no measures for emission to the flare without accidents, it should be not less than 1.0 times the diameter of the spherical tank ; 3. The fire separation distance between spherical tanks and horizontal tanks within the same tank group shall be the larger value ; 4. The distance between the two rows of horizontal tanks should not be less than 3 m ; 5. The distance between storage tanks in adjacent tank groups shall not be less than 16 m.
