At around 4 p.m., the Publicity Department of the Dongtai Municipal Party Committee issued a statement saying that at around 1 p.m. on November 4, a fire broke out on the roof of the extrusion workshop at Dongtai Huafeng Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd., which is located in the Mechanical Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park in Dongtai Town. The fire damaged the roof of the extrusion workshop; however, the equipment inside the workshop as well as the rest of the factory building were not affected by the fire, and no injuries were reported. Upon receiving the call, the Dongtai Fire Brigade rushed to the scene and promptly extinguished the fire; the cause of the incident is under investigation.
