In the production of conventional butyl rubber, a certain amount of antioxidant must be added to prevent oxidation and cross-linking of the rubber. However, these antioxidants are insoluble in water, have a higher density than water, and settle at the bottom of the water, resulting in low utilization efficiency. Meanwhile, the use of liquid antioxidants is costly. Is there any way to improve the utilization rate of antioxidants? :lol:lol
You can increase the amount of emulsifier and boost the mixing capacity of your mixing tank to achieve a better dispersion of the antioxidant suspension. However, if you aim to reduce costs, the reduction will not be significant, as the amount of antioxidant used is not large and thus its impact on costs is minimal. You should focus on reducing energy consumption instead; there is considerable room for improvement in this area
