Is it true that the lower the outlet pressure of an alkylated refrigeration compressor, the better?
It mainly depends on your process requirements; low export pressure and low energy consumption are guaranteed
This depends on the type of compressor. Reciprocating compressors require a relatively low outlet pressure, while for centrifugal compressors, if the outlet pressure is too low, it is not possible to meet the requirements for a dry gas seal; furthermore, if the pressure difference between the secondary balance tube and the vent line is not sufficient, an alarm or interlock mechanism will be triggered. The requirements may vary depending on the compressor model, and the above information applies to the compressors produced by our company.
