What are the structural differences between plate condensers and plate heat exchangers (for liquid-liquid heat exchange), and what considerations should be taken into account when using them?
Hello, plate condensers are generally used to condense gases, and the gas inlet for them is quite large! Plate heat exchangers generally have the same inlet and outlet. Plate heat exchangers can be used as plate condensers.
Plate heat exchangers are generally used for liquid-liquid heat exchange as well as for cooling gases; resistance is a problem. It is best for complete condensation to occur, as partial condensation still results in significant resistance.
