What are the main tasks of a safety officer during equipment maintenance shutdowns?
Handover of materials from the unit, emptying, purging and replacement, verification of blind plates; permits during maintenance, and safety inspections for on-site construction work
Considering the circumstances of our company, the main responsibilities of the safety officer during parking periods are as follows: 1. Safety training for external construction workers； Employee safety training during the company’s scheduled maintenance period ； 2. On-site safety inspection and verification during construction ； 3. Approval of work safety permits ； 4. Verification of the on-site safety condition before starting work. 5. Assist in the formulation and approval of on-site operation safety plans.
1. Safety training for personnel transferred to the workshop and external construction workers； Re-education on workplace employee safety training ； 1. Managing safety education records. 2. Issuing permits for activities such as welding or excavation, and conducting safety checks. 3. Developing emergency drill plans and organizing these drills. 4. Inspecting personal protective equipment. 5. Supervising on-site construction work and conducting random inspections. 6. Verifying that blind flanges have been removed before equipment is put into use. 7. Checking and confirming the condition of safety equipment. 8. Providing training on the use of safety equipment.
