Has anyone replaced the inner ring of the support brick plate in the gasifier?
Does the transfer plate need to be replaced so often? How did it get damaged?
The inner ring generally needs to be replaced after several cycles of operation. Here, we have experienced cases where the downcomer became blocked due to issues with the quality of coal, which caused a large hole to form in the brick support plate; later on, a quarter of that brick support plate was replaced.

The transfer plate has created large holes; what is the extent of damage to the refractory bricks and the area that needs to be replaced?
Due to coal quality issues, all the bricks in the furnace were replaced; it was mainly the cone-bottom bricks that were damaged by burning.
It’s not that a few furnaces need to be replaced each year; rather, new furnaces have to be replaced every year.
The inner ring is one of the components in the gasification furnace that is prone to damage. It lacks insulating bricks at its inner surface and is exposed directly to the furnace atmosphere, making it susceptible to damage due to material erosion and high temperatures.
