Water should be added multiple times for displacement, followed by ventilation or forced ventilation for displacement. As a precaution, blind flanges should be used as much as possible to isolate the area where welding takes place, in order to prevent any areas from remaining undisplaced.
The temperatures here are extremely low in winter; even after washing and drying with nitrogen, dead corners remain, and there is a risk of the equipment being damaged by freezing!
