Currently, the hot water produced has a temperature of around 70°C, and the production rate is 20-30 tons per hour. How can this water be utilized? Is thermal energy still useful? It is now planned to use this water for reactions in production, but the process requirements specify that the water temperature must not exceed 25°C. How can this water be utilized effectively? There’s no use for water at 70°C as a heating medium either; does it necessarily have to be cooled to 25°C using a heat exchanger? Is it possible to implement a cooling tower?
Lithium bromide chillers can be used to utilize this heat, thereby producing chilled water
Hello, do you know much about this area? Is there good resource sharing available? Thank you!
I’m not the manufacturer; you can consult a lithium bromide refrigeration manufacturer and ask them
The Lego factory in Jiaxing transfers the excess heat generated during production to the thermal fins in the offices; since air conditioning is not used in these offices during winter, the heat provided by the thermal fins keeps the environment comfortable
I don’t understand your question. Are you referring to the utilization of thermal energy? I still want to cool water from 70 degrees down to 25 degrees, and this can be achieved with air cooling
For warm-water lithium bromide units, the required hot water temperature should be at least 80–90 degrees Celsius; hot water at 70 degrees Celsius is not suitable. Water at this temperature can be used for heating in winter, as mentioned by the friend on the 5th floor, or it can be utilized to supply hot water for domestic use throughout the factory through a heat exchange station.
70° hot water is more than sufficient for heating; be careful with the maximum temperature of the underfloor heating pipes, so as not to damage them, as that would cause problems
There is not enough thermal energy, so there is no significant economic advantage
A heating source that can be used for heating the entire plant
For heating, bathing, and preheating raw materials, if the cooling temperature of the cooling tower is too high, use a heat exchanger instead
