Dear experts, I’m asking on behalf of a classmate. Although this person does not intend to pursue further education after completing their associate degree, they have won the second prize in the National Chemical Instrumentation Maintenance Skills Competition and the first prize in the Provincial Chemical Instrumentation Skills Competition. Can they apply for jobs at foreign or state-owned companies? The classmate doesn’t want to work at a chemical plant; instead, they prefer to work at an instrument factory. What are the working conditions like at instrument factories these days?
If this award carries significant weight, it should make it easier to find a job. It’s probably hard to get into state-owned companies, but it’s possible for foreign companies.
