The company currently has a hot air furnace with a capacity of 8 million kcal; it wants to convert it to one with a capacity of 4 million kcal. How should this conversion be carried out? Would it work just by changing the size of the furnace? I would be extremely grateful if an expert could give some guidance:handshake
Since the specific structure of the equipment is unknown, it is not possible to provide a precise solution; however, based on common sense, reducing the air supply volume while simultaneously decreasing the coal supply amount can lower the thermal power consumption of the hot blast stove.
