On the afternoon of November 29th, Beijing time, the Associated Press reported that a plane carrying players from Brazil’s Serie A team Chapecoense crashed in Colombia. The list of those on board included 9 crew members and 72 passengers. According to the latest updates, 4 of these 81 people did not board the plane; among the remaining 77, 71 died while 5 survived. Let us pray for them here; may the departed rest in peace, and may those who are still alive be strong!
The cause of the accident might have been a motor failure that led to a power outage on board.
