Doubts regarding the layout within combined units in fire protection codes

Hello everyone, the notes accompanying Table 4.2.12 state that important facilities within combined installations, such as control rooms, power distribution units, and office buildings, have their fire separation distances from adjacent installations or facilities determined in accordance with the requirements for installations with Class A fire hazard； 5.2.9 states that combined installations are considered as a single installation, and the fire separation distances for its equipment and buildings should be determined based on those applicable to adjacent buildings; refer to Table 5.2.1. This provision specifies that the distance between various installations or units is determined by the fire separation distance between adjacent equipment within the same installation, rather than by the fire separation distance between different installations. Here comes the question: for control rooms or other areas within combined installations, should the spacing values be referred to in Table 4.2.12 or Table 5.2.1? Thank you
It is clear that important facilities within the combined installation, such as control rooms, power transformation and distribution units, and office buildings, are subject to the fire separation requirements specified in 4.2.12 for installations with Class A fire hazard, when determining the distance between them and adjacent installations or facilities
Important facilities within the combined facility, such as the control room, power transformation and distribution units, and office buildings, are determined in accordance with 4.2.12; the spacing between equipment within the facility is determined in accordance with 5.2.1
You haven’t understood the concept: 1) If the facility contains a control room, power transformation and distribution units, office buildings, etc., the spacing between these and other facilities within the facility shall comply with Table 5.2.1； 2) Table 4.2.12 refers to the fire separation distances between devices. For example, in a certain type of device that includes a control room, Table 5.2.1 shall be applied within that device. For facilities outside the plant, the fire separation distances are to be determined in accordance with Table 4.2.12. In this case, the control room, together with the entire plant, is classified as a Class A facility; it should therefore be considered as such overall, rather than the control room being evaluated separately to determine its fire separation distances from surrounding facilities based on its own classification.
