While reviewing our calculation sheet for control valves, I came across a definition that I’m not quite sure about. What does “maximum pressure difference/minimum temperature before and after the valve” mean? I understand what the maximum pressure difference is, but what does the minimum temperature refer to?
Our institute only requires the maximum temperature and operating temperature to be provided for control valves.
The minimum allowable temperature, for low-temperature media or cold regions.

Is it the case that low-temperature media require the lowest temperature?
It should be the difference between the lowest temperature that the pipeline can withstand and the highest temperature, that is, the temperature difference
