Dear design experts, I would like to ask: for waste flue gas pipes operating at temperatures over 800°C, what types of materials can be used for such pipes? Also, what brand of valves are recommended? Thank you
The valve body is made of 2520 (310S). If internal leakage is acceptable, a ventilated butterfly valve is chosen for the valve body; this valve body is constructed by welding steel plates, and it does not have sealing rings. There is a retaining ring between the disc and the valve body, resulting in an internal leakage rate of 1%-3%. If zero leakage is required, a three-eccentric structure is used for the valve, with the valve body being cast, though such a valve body is relatively heavy and support needs to be considered when installing it on the pipeline.
With such high temperatures, the first thing to consider is using materials that can withstand high temperatures. For smoke ducts, ventilation butterfly valves are generally used; as long as the material is suitable and can tolerate the required temperature levels, it can be used
Hard-sealed versions also cannot achieve zero leakage; the best they can do is meet level 5 standards!
