Since the pressure rating of the flange has changed, the flange that matches the flow meter should also be replaced. When replacing the original pipe flange, it’s sufficient to remove just a small amount of the pipe that was welded to the flange. Do you want to use the old flange as before? It turns out that those flanges couldn’t be connected either to the new flanges of the flow meter.
