Reflux ratio question

The refined argon column uses liquid nitrogen as the cooling source. The valve of the liquid nitrogen feed to the refined argon condenser is opened wide; does less reflux liquid flow to the upper column or to the lower column?
It should be said that there is a reduction in flow to the lower tower; the liquid nitrogen going to the argon purification tower is connected in front of the liquid nitrogen valve in the upper tower.
