Ammonium chloride, DN80 pipes, maximum flow rate of 36 M3/H; the density of the unsaturated solution is around 1.3. An electromagnetic flow meter was chosen for this application. It’s a small company, and the management considers the price to be too high. Are there any better alternatives? MVR system
If it is just a simple measurement point (that does not participate in control or regulation), then a target-type flow meter will suffice; it’s inexpensive, and domestic ones will work just fine.
As far as I know, target flowmeters are more expensive than reed electromagnets. . .

It depends on your requirements; if accuracy isn’t critical, choose the rotor series – metal rotors are available, and the cheapest option is the glass rotor.

I’m not very familiar with media; for those that can serve as a substitute for electromagnets, orifice plates are generally the cheaper option. The rotor estimate can’t be used; the diameter is a bit too large.
