How to remove the sublimed sulfur vaporized from the vent pipes of the large liquid sulfur tank? Do any of you have any good methods?
There’s no good solution; it has to be cleaned manually from time to time
By injecting nitrogen, and using a vacuum pump to create a slight negative pressure, such a phenomenon will not occur (or the gas phase at the top is connected to the liquid sulfur degassing tank). Otherwise, responsibility lies in carrying out regular cleaning.
Simply relying on water washing is not sufficient; it seems to be similar to the sublimated sulfur produced in the purification stage. I’m not sure if adding a backwash stage with dilute acid for washing would work, and sedimentation tanks would also need to be added along with a circulation system.
There’s no good solution; using a jacket is the only somewhat better option, but it’s not thorough enough. Most devices require manual cleaning, and over time this can lead to fires.
