Fault condition: The primary element is an orifice plate, and the differential pressure transmitter is the measuring instrument. When the system was put into operation, the output of the differential pressure transmitter did not rise but instead dropped below zero.
Are the positive and negative terminals of the differential pressure transmitter connected in reverse?
First, ensure that the transmitter is accurate and the wiring is correct； The three-valve block switch is correct. If the three-valve assembly is placed in a shutdown mode and the transmitter is reset to zero, it can be preliminarily determined that there is no issue with the transmitter; instead, it is the pipeline that is blocked ； Conversely, it could be a problem with the transmitter.
The transmitter is fine; it has been tested.

In this case, it’s best to use a handheld controller to check what the PV value of the transmitter is
Is it like this since it was just put into operation, or has it always been this way? What is the medium being measured? Pressure and temperature parameters must be provided in order to conduct the analysis.
Put it on backwards? If not, then there is indeed a pressure difference, with higher pressure on the back side
