May I ask, how can one tell the quality of copper sulfate purchased in bags from the appearance of the copper sulfate itself?

Is it a bit late to reply now? We generally look at the appearance: it should be a pure sky blue color, without any greenish tint and without any white spots; the presence of white spots indicates that it has been dried too much. If it doesn’t fade when rubbed by hand, it means it’s not dyed. It has good liquidity and a fine, sandy texture!
