The book states that \"for some valves, there are requirements related to process operations and locking, and they should be arranged and labeled in accordance with the instructions provided in the PID.\" What type of valves are these, according to everyone?
LO: Lock open, ball valve or butterfly valve； LC, locked off, ball valve or butterfly valve.
What are the requirements for the layout of these valves? !
I’m not in design. There should be no difference compared to a regular valve arrangement; it just has multiple locking holes and a lock on it.
There may be some valves; the process has been calculated, including the relevant pressure drops, and the requirements have been provided to the instrumentation team.
It’s about turning on or off fault or shutdown locks, mainly to prevent hazardous substances from continuing to enter the system or certain equipment areas in the event of an accident. It’s similar to ordinary valves, and there are no particular requirements regarding its installation location.
