Requirements for the vent pipe of the steam collection header

Everyone: Are there any special regulations regarding the vent pipes of boiler steam collectors? Can elbows be used, or must they be installed as straight pipes?
There is no direct requirement, but the vent pipe of the steam header is used for releasing steam pressure. Our factory has installed emergency vent valves on the steam headers; in case of an emergency, these valves are opened to relieve pressure in the steam pipes
The vent pipe for the steam header in our plant is a manual valve and an electrically controlled valve, both of which lead to the top via bends and are equipped with silencers
