There are multiple design pressures for pipes. Can air pumps and water pumps generate such a wide range of pressure levels during pressure testing? How to do it?

There are multiple design pressure levels, allowing for pressure testing in stages, which is generally feasible. Less is used for pneumatic testing, as it is less reliable in terms of safety compared to hydraulic testing. The 6 kilograms mentioned above is the value specified in the standards; in fact, there are more lenient provisions in the subsequent sections of those standards, so you can take a look at GB50316.
Generally, pneumatic pressure is used for process pipelines with low pressures, while hydraulic pressure is employed for those with high pressures. When the process medium has no special requirements regarding water, hydraulic pressure is used in all cases. Pressure testing pumps can generally meet various pressure levels.
