Dear experts, regarding the placement of lubricant tanks in the compressor plant, are there any requirements for where the empty tanks should be placed? What specific standards or regulations require this?
In the power industry, our company formulates its guidelines in accordance with the safety standards for this industry, namely GB26164.1-2010, \"Safety Regulations for the Power Industry – Part 1: Thermal and Mechanical Aspects.\" Section 3.2.19 prohibits the storage of flammable substances in the workplace, such as gasoline, kerosene, alcohol, etc. The small amount of lubricating oil required for operation, along with the oil containers and guns needed for daily use, must be stored in the designated storage room.

There must be standards. It shouldn’t be placed on-site.
Store them in a dedicated warehouse with good ventilation, equipped with fire-fighting equipment. They should be stored separately according to their specifications and models, with labels indicating the name, model, and inventory level. The distances between goods, as well as between goods and walls or columns, must comply with the warehouse’s fire safety regulations. The warehouse floor should be made waterproof, and dikes and collection pools should be installed in the storage area.
I’m not sure about the regulations; all of our oil is stored in a dedicated warehouse – no oil is kept on site. If needed, the amount required is taken from there, and any excess is stored at the designated storage location.
