Dear sea friends, I would like to ask what type of flow meter is generally chosen for installing in steam pipelines? Which flow meter is the best in China? Thank you :)。
Orifice plates and vortex flow meters are the most commonly used.

It’s mainly orifice plates and vortex flow meters; the quality of those produced by large manufacturers is generally reliable.
Based on current technological developments, the preferred choice should be a multi-parameter vortex flow meter. In the diameter range of DN25 to DN400, digital vortex flow meters or multi-parameter vortex flow meters represent the best option: they offer moderate accuracy, a wide measurement range, low maintenance requirements, and high reliability. Secondly, orifice plates or flow meters based on the differential pressure principle can be chosen, but such flow meters have a narrow measurement range and are inconvenient to install and maintain.

The details provided on floor 5 are already very thorough; no further additions are needed at the moment. If anything needs to be added, then if there is significant vibration in the pipes, it’s better to avoid choosing vortex flow meters :)
