Could this lead to wasted energy consumption by the compressors? Is it necessary to install a system for stepless regulation of air volume?
Well, yes. I have two clients whose plants are usually of this type, and they want to install a variable-speed control system. I’m asking everyone whether this is the case in other fertilizer factories as well, so that I can make an assessment
Most plants are not operated frequently; and even when they are in use, usually only one of them is activated at a time to adjust the gas flow rate
So, should we go with a variable airflow control system?
It is used in the petrochemical industry, but hardly at all in coal chemical industry. It’s mainly a matter of money; if the one-time investment can be reduced, more users will come
Oh, it really depends on the actual operating conditions. If there is a high demand for energy savings, then it’s necessary; but for smaller models, it’s not needed. Thank you
