For internal acid cleaning of containers, what protective equipment do you use?

After being used for a while, the stainless steel equipment requires internal pickling, but the smell is very strong and pungent, making it impossible for the pickling workers to stay inside. May I ask what protective gear you use during pickling? Wear rubber gloves + positive-pressure air respirator (to reduce inhalation)! Or use an air respirator (however, the usage time is too short at 40 minutes).

If there is only one manhole, from a safety perspective, it is poor practice to allow air to flow in for ventilation; is it possible to use high-pressure acid washing outside the tank?

It’s simple: just use an acid soak tank, soak it for a few days, and then process it – it’s a bit of a waste of acid! Otherwise, use a high-pressure gun to push it in – how could anyone tolerate that?
