Strengthen the management of desulfurization solution regeneration to ensure that its pH value is maintained above 8.2, ideally within the range of 8.5 to 8.8.
During the desulfurization of transformed gas, it is necessary to strictly control the amount of hydrogen added; this addition must be coordinated with the amount of steam supplied to the heat exchanger, as well as with the volume of water drained during the desulfurization process.
Control the pH value and composition properly, prevent corrosion caused by complex reactions of impurities, and select appropriate pipes and fittings
Strengthening solution regeneration is key; it is necessary to control the formation of by-products, especially sodium sulfate. In addition, the pH of the solution must be maintained between 8.0 and 9.5.
(1) Minimize the side effects related to the production of Na2SO4, while ensuring that the pH of the desulfurization solution remains above 8.3. Prevent excessive oxidation by reducing prolonged contact between air and the solution. (2) Ensure appropriate levels of solution components and strengthen regeneration management. Minimize the content of suspended sulfur in the solution. (3) The solution in the equipment pipes should be kept in low flow or discharged regularly to prevent sulfur deposition; maintenance should be carried out promptly to clean the bottom of the tower and tanks, and sand should be added for corrosion protection before operation as appropriate.
What the fellow sailors mentioned above is all correct, but another important point is that carrying out proper anti-corrosion measures on equipment is also a key way to prevent corrosion of that equipment.
