The design temperature for high-temperature asphalt storage tanks exceeds 100°C. In high-temperature storage tanks, the material enters the tank from the top, with the outlet facing directly the tank wall. Refer to Article 5.3.13 of the \"SHT3007-2014 Standards for the Design of Tank Areas in Petrochemical Storage and Transportation Systems\": The feed pipe of the storage tank should preferably be connected at the lower part of the tank body ; The cleaning pipeline for internal floating roof tanks, as well as the pipelines for feeding combustible liquids with a temperature of 120°C or higher into the tanks, should be connected to the tanks from the tank top or the upper part of the tank body. When connecting from the top of the tank or the upper part of its body, the feed pipes for liquids of Class A, B, and C A should extend to a distance of 200 mm from the bottom of the tank, while the feed pipe for liquids of Class C B should direct the liquid toward the tank wall.
In my opinion, it’s necessary to figure out the source of the water in order to solve the problem at its root. Either the source must be anhydrous or it must be stored at a low temperature; otherwise, bumping will occur.
