Cost analysis of electrical desalination in refineries: The electricity cost is approximately 0.5 yuan per ton of oil; the cost of demulsifiers is around 0.72 yuan per ton of raw material, based on a maximum concentration of 60 PPm of oil-soluble substances. The costs associated with water injection and recycled water amount to 0.2–0.6 yuan per ton of raw material. This figure does not include depreciation costs or those related to the treatment of saline wastewater.
