Simulation of evaporation crystallization

When using Aspen to simulate the evaporation and crystallization process, is it necessary to use a crystallizer module for crystallization, or can a flash + Sep module be used as well? I’m not very familiar with the evaporation crystallization process related to Aspen. The book \"Chemical Engineering Calculations and Software Applications\" only covers simulations of multi-effect evaporation.
