The flue gas damper doors should be equipped with remotely controlled electric actuators, as well as locally installed position indicators for the flue gas damper doors. All drive devices are connected to the dampers in a direct connection manner, being attached directly to the damper bodies. The actuators must have waterproof and dustproof properties, and the protection rating of the actuators and wiring boxes should be at least IP65. Other equipment installed outdoors should have a protection rating of at least IP65. The actuator for the flue gas damper doors shall be equipped with position limit switches at both ends, torque switches in two directions, an emergency handwheel, and mechanical interlocks for maintenance purposes. The flue gas damper doors shall be equipped with 3 position switches indicating full open and 3 indicating full closed. These position switches will not be restricted by the switches equipped with drive mechanisms, and will reflect the actual status of the baffle door. Limit switches should be installed at each end of the travel, and they should be able to directly indicate the position of the plate. It should also have the capability to adjust the actuator for zero point, full scale, dead zone, etc. All actuators accompanying the dampers have been delivered and installed and tested at the manufacturing plant of Taizhou Huaye Pipeline Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The baffle type damper should rotate smoothly, with reliable operation of the limit and torque switches.
