I recently noticed that on the ‘Answer one question per week’ challenge, scores are only given if the answer is hidden; here’s my personal opinion

Having seen the moderators’ responses to others’ questions, as well as their intentions and thoughts, I wanted to say a few words. What sets HaiChuan apart from other forums is its strong emphasis on communication; popularity is increased through scoring systems. However, the decision to use hiding as a means to prevent plagiarism doesn’t fit the spirit of a proper forum. The moderators claim that only fill-in-the-blank and multiple-choice questions will be hidden, but today it might be those types of questions, and who knows what will be used tomorrow? I don’t know what the consequences of the forum’s current approach will be, but I would like to say that what matters most for a forum is its popularity; we shouldn’t let such a great forum fail due to lack of tolerance. These are just my personal opinions, and I hope the moderators can offer their guidance
There is a need to carry out these activities. If everyone is conscientious, then there’s no need to hide anything. I wonder what the OP thinks might be blocked tomorrow?

The hidden content is necessary for the event. The time to answer has expired; the answers will be posted once the thread is locked.
The daily topic is just an activity; if the poster doesn’t like it, they can go to the leisure area to post messages. :)

In previous activities, it was found that some people’s answers were similar to those from above, but it was not possible to determine whether this was plagiarism. This measure is taken to ensure fairness in competition; we hope for your understanding.

The purpose of holding these quiz activities is to increase popularity; wouldn’t it be better if participants could also gain knowledge while taking the quizzes? Besides, after the activities are over, how many people will still go and check them out?
