Let me say a few words. The weekly topics should be timely, interesting, and entertaining. The threshold shouldn’t be high; what matters is participation. Let me give you a few ideas. 1. By relating to current events, explain things in English, combine several words into a sentence, and create an English version of this week’s news. For example: A major ** occurred in Japan. Japan was hit by an earthquake. Japan is an eastern country located near China in Asia; an earthquake is a disaster caused by changes in the Earth’s surface. Please write sentences by using each of these words. This can also increase Haiyou’s interest and English proficiency. 2、puzzles 3、riddles
Personally, I think the weekly topics should be meaningful; they shouldn’t be just like the daily questions. The weekly question would be best if it involved the most commonly used sentences, grammar points, and tenses in everyday life, and it would be useful to identify the areas that are most prone to confusion and errors.
