Specific installation location. Personal opinion: 1. Since most oil pumps nowadays are screw pumps, their flow rate is relatively stable. The accumulator is primarily used to reduce the impact of sudden situations such as reverse pumping and voltage fluctuations on oil pressure ; 2. The installation location should be before the pressure transmitter. Since the purpose of installing a pressure transmitter is to monitor the oil pressure entering the unit, which is related to the safety of the unit, the more stable this pressure is, the better. When there are fluctuations in the oil circuit pressure, pressure compensation by the accumulator is required first to ensure oil pressure stability. If it is installed behind the pressure switch, it is possible that the oil pressure at the rear end will not be high enough to trigger an alarm or cause the system to shut down; however, the instantaneous oil pressure at the pressure detection point may still be below the alarm or interlock value, which will result in the system shutting down.
The internal structure of the accumulator in the compressor oil circuit is very simple; it is a rubber bladder. The interior of the casing is filled with nitrogen, at a pressure that is 0.75 times the pressure in the lubricating oil main line. When the lubricating oil pump starts, the outside of the bladder is filled with lubricating oil. Its function is to cause the bladder to expand rapidly when the oil pressure drops suddenly, thereby providing immediate compensation for the lubricant pressure.
