Internal compression: the difference between inflating air into the upper tower and the lower tower: 1. The air for the expander enters the upper tower; it’s somewhat similar to external compression, except that the oxygen exits through high-pressure plate filters. Thus, the expansion machine operates in a low-pressure process. Relatively speaking, the expander is a bit cheaper. Compared to those used in the lower tower, the high-pressure plate type has one less channel, which reduces its cost. At the same time, the booster unit is also relatively smaller, as it only needs to exchange heat with high-pressure air and oxygen. Overall, the investment in going up the tower will be smaller. 2. The energy consumption should be lower when the air enters the upper tower; I haven’t made any comparisons on this, so I hope experts can offer some guidance. 3. In terms of operation, there is no specific process for the air from the expansion engine to enter the upper tower, while the process for it to enter the lower tower is more compact, making operation relatively easier. It’s also a bit safer, right? This is just my personal opinion; I welcome any feedback from everyone.
