There are many standards, and the testing temperatures for different materials vary within each standard; what the original poster mentioned is too general
For example, per ASTM A694 TABLE 1 – Tensile Requirements: Grade, Yield Strength (0.2 % Offset), minimum, ksi; Tensile Strength, minimum, ksi; Elongation at 2 in. or 50 mm, minimum %. F42: 42, 60, 20; F46: 46, 60, 20; F48: 48, 62, 20; F50: 50, 64, 20; F52: 52, 66, 20; F56: 56, 68, 20; F60: 60, 75, 20; F65: 65, 77, 20; F70: 70, 82, 18. Under what conditions (temperature) were these values measured?
