Seeking expert advice: For pressure pipelines in GC1, carbon-lined PE pipes are to be used. How should the flanges be selected? Is it acceptable to use PN25 butt-welded flanges as required? Since lining requires soft gaskets, and standards dictate the use of male and female flanges, how can this requirement be met?
The standards for lined pipes recommend the use of PL flanges, but it seems that PL flanges are not suitable for highly toxic fluids such as GC1

According to HG/T 20538-2017, the type of flange should preferably be a slip-on flange or a flat-face flange, with the sealing surface being of the RF type. In other words, it is recommended; of course, butt-welded flanges can also be used.
Of course, welded flanges are available. Who said it has a raised and recessed flange? Ordinary flanges rarely have uneven surfaces; what kind of uneven surface do you use for your lined pipe?
