The outdoor compressed air pipelines in the factory area are laid directly buried; there is a significant amount of water and oil accumulation inside these pipes, which leads to corrosion and rusting on their inner walls. The rust debris is then carried along with the air through the pipes to the pneumatic tools, causing blockages in those tools. May I ask: Are there any good methods for preventing corrosion inside compressed air pipelines? I checked the technical specifications for spray-lined plastic coating, but it can only be used with liquid media and inert gas media.
Is the pipe not installed at an angle?
Galvanized pipes would work too. Innerly coated pipes with solvent-free epoxy can also be used, but if the pipe diameter is small, it may be difficult to repair the weld area; some manufacturers are able to carry out repairs on pipes with a diameter of DN100 or more.
It is already rare for compressed air pipelines to be laid underground. Drainage is a problem; incomplete drainage certainly causes corrosion of the pipes. Why not lay the pipes on the ground?

It is necessary to purge the interior as soon as possible, as the pipes are always filled with a medium – compressed air being the gaseous medium. There shouldn’t be any water or oil. If there is such water and oil, it is best to install filtering equipment at the pipeline inlet.
I don’t understand. Since it’s a low point, aren’t there any facilities for drainage or something? Also, isn’t there something like a dryer before compressed air enters the pipeline?
Some have them, some don’t; some might have been considered unnecessary by the manufacturer at the time
