Acidic gases mainly include hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, and sulfuric acid. Since there is a negative pressure of around -90 Kpa at the outlet of the tank, tanks with a steel lining covered in PE cannot withstand such high pressures. What material would be a better choice?
It should be possible; when I was in the corporate sector, the vacuum systems used plastic-lined fiberglass, with a pressure of -96 kPa.
