How should the wall thicknesses of the main pipe and the branch pipes in a reduced-diameter pipe fitting tee be matched, and what are the specific requirements?
Various standards specify this; taking GB/T 12459-2017 as an example, the wall thickness of the main pipe in a reduced-diameter tee should be the same as that of the designed main pipeline, and the wall thickness of the branch pipe should be the same as that of the designed branch pipeline. When placing orders for pipe fittings, it is sufficient to specify these two wall thicknesses
