Are there any manufacturers in China capable of producing high-temperature ball valves for 900℃?

If this is the actual operating temperature, it is possible to carry out the work in China, but the costs and time required will be very high. Currently, the packing used in China is of the wound type; for such high temperatures, imported molded packing is necessary, and this involves issues related to valve design and molds as well. The valve material is stainless steel, and it is necessary to control the carbon content. It sounds quite simple, but it’s difficult to carry out in practice. It is highly recommended to import this valve; even domestic manufacturers with the necessary technical capabilities would need to treat it as a new R&D project. The manufacturer must bring together casting or forging manufacturers, seal material suppliers, and the project owner to work together on its development.
Why don’t you ask our company’s sales team? We manufacture various types of valves; we are a well-established brand, and ball valves are one of our main products. As for the high-temperature ball valves with an operating temperature of over 900° that you’re looking for, we need to check first to see if they are available. Valves that can withstand temperatures of 900 degrees – it’s unlikely such valves exist in China; it’s better to consider importing them
At 900 degrees, the material and packing are easy to handle; it’s the sealing surface coating that presents some difficulties. As for the structure, a floating ball valve is the best choice.
It is not recommended to use domestic ball valves, as the risks are too high. As mentioned above, it is theoretically possible to achieve this by using high-temperature molded sealing materials along with 310S castings and forged balls. But it’s unknown what the actual product will be like; maybe insulation will be added to it? Maybe it’s a way.
