A liquid drainage outlet is provided at the outlet of the relief device’s safety valve (rupture disc). The safety valve can be installed in the outlet pipeline, but it is not possible to locate the rupture disc pipeline at the lowest point, especially when WN flanges are used. Is it acceptable to install it using a socket flange at the outlet? Is this in compliance with the regulations?
6.1.2.4 The safety device for blast fragments must ensure safety during blasting. Depending on the properties of the medium, it is possible to discharge them directly inside the chamber (paying attention to the discharge location and direction to maintain safety) or direct them to a safe location for discharge; at the same time, the fragments from the blast devices should not obstruct the discharge of the medium. 6.1.2.5 The discharge pipe of the blast fragment safety device shall be connected to the device through a large-radius elbow, and vent holes shall be provided at appropriate positions on the discharge pipe to prevent the accumulation of condensate and similar substances inside the pipe.
